Cloud Solutions Sales Associate/Architect

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Cloud Solutions Sales Associate/Architect. In this role, you will be responsible for learning and understanding the cloud solutions offered by industry giants Amazon, Google, and Microsoft, and leveraging that knowledge to sell their products to our clients. As a vital contributor to revenue growth, you will identify opportunities within the cloud computing market and capitalize on them. Your responsibilities will include mastering cloud solutions, conducting market research, generating leads, providing consultative sales, building strong relationships with clients, developing sales strategies, and collaborating with cloud solution providers (Hardware, Software, Solutions & Trainings).

Responsibilities:

Build Cloud Solutions Portfolio: Acquire in-depth knowledge of the cloud solutions provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure. Stay up to date with the latest advancements, features, and best practices offered by each platform.

Market Research and Lead Generation: Conduct market research to identify potential customers and industries that would benefit from cloud solutions. Generate leads and build a strong pipeline of potential clients through various channels such as networking events, referrals, online platforms, and cold calling.

Consultative Selling: Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs and challenges. Utilize your expertise in cloud solutions to provide tailored recommendations and solutions that align with their requirements. Clearly articulate the value proposition of Amazon, Google, and Microsoft cloud products to potential customers.

Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with clients and act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process. Develop a deep understanding of their business objectives and challenges to position cloud solutions effectively. Provide ongoing support and address any concerns or inquiries they may have.

Sales Strategy and Goal Achievement: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve individual and team targets. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling sales materials, presentations, and demos to showcase the benefits of cloud solutions. Track and report on sales metrics and provide regular updates to the management team.

Collaboration with Cloud Solution Providers: Establish strong relationships with Amazon, Google, and Microsoft Associate/Architects. Leverage their resources, training programs, and support to stay updated on new product releases, certifications, and industry trends.

Requirements:

Experience in Cloud Solutions: 1-2 Years of a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience working with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure. Familiarity with cloud services like computing, storage, databases, networking, and security.

Sales and Business Development Skills: Proven track record in sales or business development, preferably in the technology sector. Experience selling software-as-a-service (SaaS), infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), or platform-as-a-service (PaaS) solutions is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships, negotiate contracts, an expert in remote customer engagements, understand full sales lifecycle (Pre/Post Sales), and close deals.

Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn and understand complex technical concepts quickly. Strong problem-solving skills to address client challenges and recommend suitable cloud solutions. Basic knowledge of programming languages, migration workloads and system architecture is a plus.

Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively. Active listening skills to understand client requirements and provide appropriate solutions. Persuasive presentation skills to deliver engaging product demonstrations.

Self-Motivation and Adaptability: Self-driven individual who can work independently and meet sales targets. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to evolving cloud technologies and market trends.

Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree: A bachelor’s degree in computer science with relevant 1-2 years experience in cloud solutions delivery. Relevant certifications from Amazon, Google, or Microsoft in cloud technologies are a plus.
