Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Digital Energy Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting market research, developing business plans, and selling energy-related solutions provided by industry-leading companies such as Schneider Electric, General Electric, ABB, and other prominent energy and power-related organizations. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to learn and understand products from multiple vendors to effectively promote and sell them to clients.


Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and competitive landscape within the digital energy sector. Analyze market needs and opportunities to drive business growth and develop effective sales strategies.

Business Plan Development: Collaborate with the sales and management teams to develop comprehensive business plans for selling energy-related solutions. Define target markets, identify key customer segments, and establish clear objectives and strategies to achieve sales targets.

Product Knowledge Acquisition: Learn and gain a deep understanding of energy-related products offered by various vendors, including Schneider Electric, General Electric, ABB, and others. Stay updated with the latest advancements, features, and best practices offered by each company.

Consultative Selling: Engage with potential clients to understand their energy and power-related challenges and requirements. Utilize your product knowledge to provide tailored recommendations and propose suitable solutions that address their specific needs. Effectively communicate the value proposition of the products offered by multiple vendors.

Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process. Develop an in-depth understanding of their energy requirements and challenges to position appropriate solutions effectively. Provide ongoing support and address inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.

Sales Strategy Implementation: Execute the developed business plan and sales strategies to achieve individual and team sales targets. Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of energy-related solutions. Monitor sales metrics, track progress, and provide regular updates to the management team.


Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly learn and understand energy-related products and solutions from various vendors. Familiarity with digital energy concepts, power systems, energy management, and related technologies is advantageous.

Sales and Business Development Skills: Proven track record in sales or business development, preferably in the energy or technology sector. Experience selling energy-related solutions or similar products is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships, negotiate contracts, and achieve sales targets.

Market Research and Analysis: Strong analytical and research skills to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights. Ability to translate market research findings into actionable sales strategies and business plans.

Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Active listening skills to understand client requirements and propose suitable solutions. Persuasive presentation skills to deliver engaging product demonstrations.

Self-Motivation and Adaptability: Proactive and self-driven individual who can work independently and meet sales goals. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to evolving energy-related technologies and market trends.

Bachelor’s Degree: A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant certifications in energy management or related domains are a plus.
